TEA & COFFEE AFTER CHURCH
I am very pleased that I persisted with offering a drink and social time after the main church service on Sundays, despite the reservations expressed by some people.
I really think that the area at the back of church make a good setting to relax with friends. Some people have 'moaned' at me during Advent and Lent when I do not put chocolate biscuits out; but in the main I think most have appreciated the choice of biscuits!
From June I will not have table cloths and tea towels to wash and iron. Perhaps I
shall have withdrawal symptoms! Shelagh Morrell is going to organise the tea & coffee
from the end of May, so please help her if you can. Washer-
I find it gratifying that something I started as a social occasion will continue after I have left. It now raises over £700 a year for church funds, money the PCC cannot afford to do without.

Are
